Michael Asante Biney

Michael Asante Biney is an Environmental Engineer and Practitioner whose visionary leadership and interdisciplinary approach have established him as a prominent influencer in environmental management and sustainable development across Africa and beyond. With roots in Ghana and a distinguished academic background from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, he effectively bridges cutting-edge research with grassroots community impact.

His research intersects environmental sustainability, environmental economics, natural resource management, and soil remediation. He has made significant contributions to academic books and articles that address crucial issues, such as enhancing soil health through pyrolysis technology, heavy metal remediation, and implementing environmental best practices.

As the Director of the Centre for Sustainability and Environmental Action (CSEA), he leads innovative projects focused on environmental sustainability, afforestation, biodiversity protection, and participatory democracy, catalyzing local action and fostering resilient communities.
