About CSEA Ghana

The Centre for Sustainability and Environmental Action (CSEA) is a women- and youth-led non-governmental organization committed to promoting environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, inclusiveness, gender equality, and the sustainable management of natural resources. We achieve this through research, climate action, advocacy, policy dialogue, environmental education, and meaningful engagement with communities and stakeholders. By fostering collaboration and empowering local communities, we work to build resilient ecosystems, strengthen livelihoods, and promote a healthier, safer, more equitable, and sustainable society for present and future generations.

CSEA is led by a woman and supported by a multidisciplinary team of qualified and experienced professionals with expertise in environmental management, climate action, community development, governance, research, and sustainable livelihoods. Our team is dedicated to developing innovative and practical solutions that address environmental, social, and economic challenges in an integrated manner, contributing to long-term sustainable development and community resilience.

At CSEA, we believe that sustainable change is achieved through inclusive participation, local ownership, evidence-based decision-making, and strong partnerships. We therefore work closely with communities, government institutions, traditional authorities, civil society organizations, academia, and development partners to create lasting impact and ensure that both people and nature can thrive together.
